Happy Wednesday!
Hi friend,
It's another beautiful day here in North Central Pennsylvania. I hope you're doing well.
If you'll reply and share your prayer requests, I'd be honored to pray for you, as always.
Instead of a goat video today, I thought you might enjoy some autumn leaves.
FROM MY WRITING DESK
I'm almost finished with the non-fiction craft book (about author newsletters) I've been working on, so I should have more time to focus on fiction soon.
I also uploaded some courses to my new Skool community and finished a couple of YouTube videos this week for The Write Angle. If you're an author or aspiring author, please check them out. I need to invite three people to join my Skool community before it'll show in the directories, so I'm inviting you first! I'm also planning some live trainings that'll take place very soon.
FARM NEWS
Vicky Van Goat is especially vocal today. Not sure who put a bee in her bonnet, but she's hiking up and down the hill in the pasture complaining all the while.
In other news, the chickens have not been cooperative lately. We've had to go buy eggs for about a month now. Thankfully, we can buy them from another local farm, so we're still getting fresh eggs rather than store-bought, but it'd be nice if our girls would lay enough for breakfast. The twelve of them are going to get a stern talking-to this evening.
As for the older rooster, he hasn't been coming out to the porch lately. Not sure if it just seems too far for him now or what, but he hasn't been hanging around at all this week.

Eight Christmas romantic suspense novels in one collection!
I'm joining seven wonderful authors for Shelter Me This Christmas, a collection of previously published stories filled with danger, romance, and faith.
My contribution, Healing the Hero, follows a wounded Army veteran and a chef whose growing romance is threatened by someone seeking revenge.
You'll also find stories by Susan May Warren, Christy Barritt, Robin Patchen, Susan Sleeman, Taylor Hart, Alexa Verde, and Jorgia Yates.
AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Kelly Borjas is visiting Heartbeats & Hideaways this week to talk about High Exposure, a romantic suspense novel set in snowy Silverberg, Colorado. She shares how the story lived on her computer for about eleven years before becoming the first book in her Jagged Edges series. I enjoyed hearing how Julia and Cade’s story grew through revision, and how Julia learns that running from pain does not lead to healing. Stop by the blog to read the full interview.
