And I'm sorry in advance for asking you to do it one more time.
We've made some software changes behind the scenes and completely rebuilt how I'm going to manage ARC copies—not just for UNTAMED, but for future Lily R. Steele releases, too.
The goal is simple:
Less confusion for you. Less chasing things down for me. And a much smoother ARC experience for everyone.
But to get the new system started correctly, I need everyone who wants an UNTAMED ARC to sign up through the new ARC Team page—even if you already signed up before.
If you've already done this once, thank you for bearing with me while I get everything moved over. I promise I'm not making you jump through hoops just for fun. 😂
So... What's Changing?
The biggest change is that the new system will handle ARC delivery and review tracking in one place.
When UNTAMED is ready, ARC Team members will receive their advance copy through the new system.
Then, when it's time to review, I'll send you the review links you need.
Please use those links when leaving your review.
That's important.
The new system tracks completed reviews through the links provided with the ARC round. That means instead of me trying to manually figure out who reviewed, who didn't, whether someone's Amazon review finally appeared, or whether I'm looking at the right Goodreads profile...
The system can keep track of it for us.
Much easier.
One Important Thing About ARC Reviews
Receiving an ARC means you're agreeing that you genuinely intend to read the book and leave an honest review.
Notice I said honest.
I am never asking you for five stars.
I'm never asking you to say you loved a book if you didn't.
And I'm never going to punish someone because their honest opinion wasn't glowing.
Your review belongs to you.
What I am asking for is follow-through.
If you accept early access to UNTAMED, please read it and, when it's time, leave your honest review through the review links I provide so the new ARC system can properly record that you've completed the round.
That record will help me determine who receives early access to future Lily R. Steele books.
If the system doesn't show a completed review because the provided process wasn't followed, I may not have a reliable way to verify that the ARC commitment was completed—and unfortunately, that could affect whether I'm able to offer that reader another ARC in the future.
That's not meant to be harsh.
I simply have to protect early copies of my books and ensure that readers receiving them are willing to honor the ARC commitment.
