🔥 THIS ONE'S FOR MY STEAMY REBELS

Hey Rebels,

I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I send you—and more importantly, why I'm sending it.

The Rebellion has grown into a pretty interesting mix of readers. Some of you came to me through my cowboys and stayed for the heat. Some walked straight through the Blackstone gates and apparently decided morally gray was your new favorite color. And quite a few of you will read either one depending on your mood.

So instead of trying to cram everything into every newsletter, I'm giving each side of the Rebellion a little room of its own.

Going forward, one newsletter each week will be just for my Steamy Rebels. That's where you'll find the cowboys, billionaires, small-town men, romantic suspense, protective heroes, and romances that bring the heat without necessarily bringing a body count.

Other days, we'll mix things up. And some newsletters will belong entirely to my Dark Rebels, because God knows the Blackstones and their equally questionable friends need somewhere to misbehave.

That doesn't mean you have to pick a side.

If you love both, perfect. Read everything.

If you lean dark, you'll know which newsletters are especially for you. If your Kindle prefers its men a little less homicidal and a lot more cowboy, you'll have a day that's especially for you, too.

Basically, I'm organizing your bad decisions.

But there is another reason I wanted to explain all of this today.

Because while I've been figuring out how to give my Steamy Rebels a little more attention around here...

I've also been keeping something from you.

And I think it's time I told you.

👀 I HAVE NEWS...

I've been keeping a little something from y'all.

There's a new Lily R. Steele book taking shape.

And no—this one isn't coming from behind the Blackstone gates.

This one is for my Steamy Rebels.

I'm not giving you the title yet.

I'm not showing you the cover.

And I am DEFINITELY not giving you a release date yet, because y'all know better than to let me make promises while I'm still arguing with fictional people in my head. 😂

But...

I suppose I can give you a little taste.

Think country music. Ranch country. Years of history. Years of wanting someone you couldn't have. A man with entirely too much self-control...and a woman whose dreams were always too big to keep her in one place.

There are old feelings here.

Old choices.

Things that were never said.

There's love.

There's history.

And yes, there's heat.

Because some things don't disappear just because years have passed.

That's all you're getting out of me today.

For now. 😂

I'm genuinely excited about what we're doing with the Rebellion.

Lily R. Steele has changed over the years because I've changed as a writer. The stories I'm obsessed with now are darker, messier, more complicated, and sometimes considerably more morally questionable.

That's where Bourbon & Blood came from, and I'm not going anywhere.

But that doesn't erase the other stories I love.

It doesn't erase the cowboys.

It doesn't erase the romantic suspense.

It definitely doesn't erase the heat.

And it doesn't erase those of you who have been here because that is the kind of romance you love.

So we're making room for all of it.

Steamy Rebels get their day.

Dark Rebels get theirs.

And sometimes I'm throwing all of you into the same room and seeing what happens.

Because whether he's a morally gray Blackstone with blood on his hands, a protective billionaire with an actual conscience, or a cowboy who knows exactly what he's doing...

Let's be real.

We're probably going to read the damn book. 😂
