Friday morning is finally here, which means it's technically the weekend.
Work is taking a backseat, and it’s time for pure cozy fun!
My morning sniffing audit is finished, the warm drinks are poured, and my paw is firmly planted on today’s mystery stack.

🍩🕵️♀️ Case Closed: The Great Cronut Caper
Dot here, grabbing the mic for the grand reveal! 🎤🐾
First of all, I’d like to state for the record that ruining a pastry of that magnitude is an international offense! But second... our amateur sleuths had their work cut out for them because this case was packed with a brilliant red herring! 🧐🐾
Here’s how the crime actually unfolded:
- Mayor Higgins is CLEARED! ✂️🎀 While standing by the counter practicing his ribbon-cutting speech with his eyes closed looked suspicious, BUT the Mayor was completely innocent.
- The Red Herring: 🚩 That sticky trail of bright red raspberry filling leading straight from the display case to the espresso machine was a total setup! Penelope deliberately laid the trail to frame Oliver the Barista and trick everyone into looking his way.
- Oliver's Cold Machine: ☕ While Oliver was slacking off, his espresso machine was completely ice-cold because he hadn't run a single hot water line all morning, he didn't squash the cronut!
- The Real Culprit: Penelope the Pastry Trainee! 🥐 Penelope squashed the centerpiece and tried to pin it on Oliver with her fake trail, but her cover blew when an empty jar of raspberry filling was found hidden right inside one of her freshly folded pink pastry boxes!
The Official Verdict:
Because Penelope’s sneaky red herring threw everyone off the scent, no one managed to guess the real culprit! So while we don't have a challenge winner to crown this week, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated and tested their sleuthing skills!
