SLIM CHANCE WITH A KILLER ARC COPIES ARE GOING OUT TODAY!
Happy Thursday, my wonderful mystery lovers!
Elly here, and today is an exciting day in the Sunset Cove newsroom!
After all the preparations, behind-the-scenes work, and a considerable amount of supervision from a certain green-eyed Maine Coon, we're officially delivering our advance reader copies of Slim Chance With a Killer!
If you signed up to be part of our ARC team, keep a close eye on your inbox today!
You'll be receiving a separate email containing your personal ARC download link and instructions. That email is important, so please don't delete it once you've downloaded your book.
Perry has already requested that I label it as official investigative correspondence.
Naturally.
📬 ARC DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO COLLECT YOUR ADVANCE COPY
We've introduced a new system to make receiving your ARC and submitting your review easier than ever.
Here's what you need to know.
STEP 1 — WATCH FOR YOUR SEPARATE ARC EMAIL
If you're registered for our Slim Chance With a Killer ARC team, you'll receive another email containing your download link and directions.
This special edition of The Sunset Chronicles is simply your announcement. Your actual book download link will be in that separate ARC email.
STEP 2 — DOWNLOAD YOUR EBOOK
Open your ARC delivery email and follow the link provided. From there, you'll be able to download the EPUB edition of Slim Chance With a Killer.
You can then add the ebook to your preferred compatible reading app or device and settle in for another investigation with Rosalind Harper-Cross and Perry Mason.
STEP 3 — READ AND ENJOY THE MYSTERY!
This is the fun part!
Pour yourself something warm, get comfortable, and see whether you can uncover the truth before Rosalind does.
And remember...
Everybody wanted the miracle. Somebody wanted her dead.
STEP 4 — RETURN TO YOUR ARC EMAIL TO LEAVE YOUR REVIEW
Once you've finished reading, return to that same ARC delivery email.
You'll find a link that allows you to submit your review through our new system. Follow the instructions provided so your review participation can be recorded.
This helps us keep track of which ARC readers collected their books and who has completed the review process.
Please keep your ARC email until you've finished both steps!
🔎 FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK
WHY WE'RE USING A NEW ARC SYSTEM
I wanted to make our ARC program a little more organized for everyone, and our new system allows us to do just that.
We can now track when readers collect their advance copies and record their review participation. This helps us make sure our books are reaching readers who genuinely want to read them and share their thoughts.
And those reviews matter more than you might realize.
For an independent author, every honest review helps other readers discover our stories. It also means the world to know that someone took time out of their busy life to read a book and share their experience.
Your review doesn't have to be five stars, and it doesn't have to be long. I simply ask that it be honest.
If you've volunteered to be an ARC reader, please make every effort to follow through with your review. If something comes up and you're unable to finish, just reach out and let me know.
I appreciate every one of you who has signed up to support Slim Chance With a Killer, and I'm so excited to hear what you think!

OFFICIAL NOTICE FROM THE ARC INVESTIGATIONS DEPARTMENT
"I've reviewed the new delivery procedures."
And?
"Acceptable. Although I have a question."
Of course you do.
"Will we know who collected their books?"
Yes, Perry. The system keeps track of that.
"And who submitted their reviews?"
Yes, that too.
"Excellent. Accountability."
We're not running a police department, Perry.
"Then why do we have case files?"
They're mystery novels.
"A technicality."
Anything else?
"Yes. Please remind everyone that my investigative contributions deserve appropriate recognition."
I'll be sure to pass that along.
"Preferably in writing."
Naturally.
🗞️ THE SPECIAL EDITION IS CLOSED…
And there you have it, readers!

ARC team members, remember these three things:
Watch for your separate ARC delivery email.

Save that email so you can return to the review link when you've finished reading.
If you don't see your ARC delivery email, be sure to check your spam or promotions folder before reaching out.
Thank you again for being part of this special group of readers. Your time, enthusiasm, and willingness to share honest reviews mean so much to me.
Now, go get comfortable.
Rosalind has another case to solve.
And Perry is already convinced he knows who did it.
