Hope you had a fantastic week. Things calmed down around here, thankfully. No new health scares or injuries to report. Praise the Lord.
In November, our church celebrates a month of missions. A significant portion of our church's budget goes to missions, so it's nice to stay up to date on what they're doing. As many of you know, my husband and I teach the teens during service, so this past week, we talked about the missionaries our church supports and elaborated on where they're located and what their ministries entail. Then we asked them to pick a missionary to pray for and encourage during the month of November as a way of getting them more involved.

As you know, I've been writing Not One Sparrow. Have I mentioned yet that it's about a missionary based in Tajikistan? I can't wait for you to read it. Talia is a bush pilot, and Clay is the CIA officer that lands her in a tight spot.
But while I'm working on that, you'll need something to read, so check out this multi-author anthology we released yesterday. FARM NEWS
Farmer Joe cleaned out the chicken houses a few days ago, and he wasn't thrilled with how dusty they were from lack of rain. Nevertheless, the birds were happy to have clean homes.
Speaking of the birds, the new chickens are no longer trying to perch in the barn at night but are instead putting themselves to bed in the duck house.
Our dear deer friends have been hanging around with more frequency and drinking out of the birdbath.
In other news, Cassie got a bit feisty with Sadie. Check out the itty-bitty cat swatting the giant livestock guardian dog.
