Happy Monday!
Hi friend,
It was a busy week with lots of rain, but the last two days, the weather's been beautiful. This afternoon, I had the pleasure of a visit to the dentist to deal with a chipped tooth. Hope you had more fun than I did.
If you'll reply and share your prayer requests, I'd be honored to pray for you, as always.
FROM MY WRITING DESK
The writing is slow going, but it's progressing. I'm heading to the Open Air Book Fair in a couple of weeks, and when that's over it's off to the ACFW Conference and Storyfest. Some swag for that came in the mail today. Can't wait to connect with readers and authors.
FARM NEWS
In addition to his usual farm chores, Farmer Joe spent some time out in the barn yesterday rearranging the hay stall. His rooster friend decided not to join him out there. Instead, he sunbathed out by the bird feeders. The shade now covers the area, and Cassie cat is lying in his place now.
But back to Roo: he may lose his good buddy status after he flew up at Joe yesterday in full attack mode. He's since returned to his docile self, but we'll be on alert for any more aggression.
For your viewing pleasure this week, I've included a video of Shirley (pygmy/mini alpine cross) chowing down on some hay.
