Happy Wednesday!
Hi friend,
It's been another busy week for us. We went to the grandkids' soccer games on Saturday. Dahlia's team tied, and Grey's team won 8-0. While Dahlia's team played, I took Grey over for the shootout competition. He scored well for his age group.
On Sunday, we had an evangelist preaching for both services, and then we went back on Monday and Tuesday for those services. Tonight I'll be singing. You're welcome to join us live on Facebook or at Bible Baptist on Shickshinny Road (Route 239) in Benton, PA, if you're close enough to join us in person.
I love special meetings; how about you?
Don't hesitate to respond with your prayer requests so I can lift you up to the Almighty.
FROM MY WRITING DESK
Today is the final day to purchase Critical Threat or download for Kindle Unlimited. The publisher will be reverting the rights to the authors shortly, so once I get the rights back for Blast Radius, I'll be relaunching it into the world. Stay tuned for a cover reveal coming soon.

The morning sun cut through the windshield as Riley pulled into her driveway.
"Quick stop, buddy," she said over her shoulder.
She popped the hatch and unlatched Ares's crate. "Come."
He jumped down, and she reached for his lead.
He froze.
Every muscle in his body locked. His fur rising in a ridge from shoulders to tail. His eyes fixed on her front door.
Then he sat.
Rigid. Silent.
No bark. No whine. Just the absence of sound that screamed louder than any alarm.
Riley's pulse kicked into overdrive. She followed his gaze to the door frame.
Copper wire.
Thin as fishing line, threaded through the weather seal at knee height. The same gauge as the storm drain tripwire.
Her fortress. Breached.
Her voice came out steadier than she felt. "I need you at my house. Now."
Riley backed away from the door, keeping Ares at her side. A lawn mower hummed down the block. A sprinkler hissed next door. Everything looked normal.
But normal was an illusion.

FARM NEWS
Farmer Joe's old rooster buddy is still spending most of his day hanging around the front door begging for scraps. We placed a ceramic water bowl out there for him since he kept knocking over the aluminum one. If he'd just stop pooping all over the front porch, he'd be a welcome guest.
In other news, Farmer Joe is still collecting and deshelling acorns for the old goats. Joe wasn't able to pick up the second load of hay yet as it was raining when we had planned to go, but he made plans for this Friday, weather permitting. In the meantime, there is plenty of grass, and they can eat the hay we have if they don't want the grass.
As for the inside pups, it's allergy season for Maddie, which means an allergy pill and some topical spray on the leg she was chewing raw. It usually only lasts a month or so for her, thankfully, so, hopefully, she'll be back to normal before long.
The video below is of us putting the critters to bed for the night.
