Signup forms & double opt-in

Create a form under your audience's Signup forms and you get a hosted signup page with its own link—put it in your email signature, your social bios, behind a QR code at a signing, or link it from your website. You can also embed the form directly on your own site, or show it as a pop-up—see the embedding guide.

Make it yours

Each form's Customize button opens the editor: heading, intro text, button label, whether to ask for a name, an optional redirect after signup, and the consent line shown under the button. The page wears your email branding automatically, or you can style it to match the website it lives on—colors, background, the works.

The consent text isn't decoration: what a reader saw when they signed up is stored with their record as proof of consent.

Double opt-in or not?

With double opt-in on, new signups get a confirmation email and only become active when they click it. You trade a little friction for a list where every address is real and wanted—bots and typos never make it on.

  • On (the safe default): giveaways, anywhere the form is exposed to strangers.
  • Off: places where signup intent is already strong and friction costs real readers.

A form can also deliver a reader magnet—pick one in the form's settings and the confirmation flow hands the reader their download. See the reader magnets guide.

Bots

The hosted pages carry invisible bot defences (no CAPTCHA—your readers never prove anything). A form that suddenly takes a burst of suspicious signups pauses itself and tells you, so a bot can't burn your sender reputation on confirmation emails.
