How book downloads work
Getting your book
The author is giving you this book directly. Enter your email address and the download link arrives in your inbox (it also appears right on the page). The link works a few times and for a limited number of days, so grab the book on every device you read on.
Reading on a Kindle
If the email includes the book file itself, you can forward that email straight to your Kindle address (find it in your Amazon account under “Manage Your Content and Devices”). Otherwise, download the EPUB and send it with Amazon’s free Send to Kindle tool. Most other reading apps (Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play Books) open EPUB files directly.
About your email address
The page always says exactly what your email is used for. If there’s a subscribe box and you tick it, you’ll get the author’s newsletter—and every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe. Some authors also offer an “Email preferences” link in the same footer, where you choose which kinds of emails you get instead of leaving entirely.
Something not working?
Reply to the delivery email—it goes straight to the author, and authors answer.
