Books & Amazon affiliate links

Your audience's Books page is a small library: title, cover, extra graphics (3D renders, quote cards, banners), description, excerpts, and retail links for each book. Once a book is in the library, the composer can drop it into any email—cover, blurb, and buy button in one click—and the {{book.…}} merge tags come alive. Attach more than one graphic and the drop-in row lets you pick which leads: the flat cover, a 3D render, or any creative.

Promo renders, generated for you

No renders to attach? The book editor draws them from your flat cover, right under the image slots: an e-reader mockup, a standing paperback (page block and all), an audiobook (your cover on a tablet wearing headphones), and—when the book has series-mates in your library—a series stack. Click "Use" on any of them and it lands in the matching image slot, ready for the composer's drop-in picker and your forms. No mockup subscription needed.

Links that follow the reader

A book with an ASIN (its Amazon ID, shown on the book editor) gets the platform's best trick: {{book.amazonLink}} resolves per reader to their own country's Amazon store. Your UK readers land on amazon.co.uk, Germans on amazon.de—same email, right store, more sales credited correctly.

Affiliate tags

Add your Amazon Associates tags under the Affiliate settings on the Books page (one Associates account covers all your pen names—Amazon's rule, so tags are account-wide here). After that:

  • Every {{book.amazonLink}} carries the right tag for the reader's marketplace.
  • Every Amazon link you paste is tagged too—including other authors' books in a newsletter swap. Links are rebuilt per reader with your tag for their store.
  • The required affiliate disclosure line is added to emails that need it, automatically—Amazon and the FTC both require it, so we never let you forget.
Amazon has allowed affiliate links in email since March 2024—but only in solicited, opt-in mail like a newsletter. That's exactly what you're sending, so you're fine; just don't paste your tagged links into cold outreach.

Each book also gets a hosted page ({{book.page}}) listing every retailer—the link to use when you don't want to play Amazon favorites.
