Write and send a campaign

Create a campaign from your audience's Campaigns page. The composer is subject-first—the subject line is what readers decide by, so it gets the big box. The preview text under it is the gray line inboxes show after the subject; one enticing sentence that finishes the subject's thought.

Starting points

An empty campaign offers templates—a newsletter issue, a new-release announcement, a cover reveal, and more. Pick one and replace the [bracketed prompts] with your own words. Books from your library can be dropped in with cover, blurb, and a buy button in one click.

Before you send

Always send yourself a test. The test is exactly what readers will receive—same subject, same footer—so you can proof it in a real inbox. (We deliberately don't prefix the subject with "[Test]": that word is a spam trigger, and a test that differs from the real thing isn't a test.)

Choose who gets it with the "Send to" picker: everyone, or a segment you've built. The button shows a live count of matching readers minus your suppression list—the number you confirm is the number that sends.

Choose the delivery speed—all at once, or spread over a window of hours. See the delivery-speed guide for when spreading helps.

Send now, or schedule

Sending asks for one confirmation and then it's queued—sending can't be undone. Or pick a date and time and Schedule; a scheduled campaign can still be edited or canceled right up until its time arrives.

The weekly rhythm: open last week's issue and press Duplicate—you get a fresh draft with the same layout and recipient selection, ready to rewrite. Most authors never start from blank after the first issue.
